
About Course
As per the Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Exam Regulations, 2022, a candidate applying for registration as a pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council should have undergone pharmacy education and a comprehensive practical training program in Diploma in Pharmacy must qualify for the Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Exam to ensure that he can exercise his professional skills as a registered pharmacist.
The Diploma in Pharmacy exit exam will be held twice a year, and it is necessary to obtain 50 % marks in each paper to pass it.
The duration of the exit exam is 3 hours and will be conducted in English language. The format will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) with no negative marking.
There will be 3 papers comprising 8 subjects broadly consisting of:
1. Pharmaceutics
2. Pharmacognosy
3. Pharmacology
4. Pharmaceutical Chemistry
5. Biochemistry
6. Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy
7. Law and Ethics
8. Drug store and business management (Community Pharmacy and management)
All the topics under each subject shall be revised briefly with practice MCQ. The syllabus as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India shall be followed. There would be online classes of 2 hours’ duration for 60 days. A batch-wise learning schedule shall be provided once the registration is done.
